Believe it or not, I actually like the design of the last benzes better than the 07's. I love the color of the first benz pic (purple). I'ma hit the lotto and get me 7 of em.....1 for each day of the week

i think its stupid that its in place of the spidomitor cuz ud only be able to look at it for short periods of time which would basicaly make it useless ....ur not gona come around a turn and be like "hey are there people there" and turn it on...IMO the only way it would be functional if its allways on

it targets objects via infrared beyond the reach of the headlights. likely it has an automatic function (like rain sensing windshield wipers). add to that, as the car continues to move forward, there will be a time when the headlights are actually on the object, thus eliminating the need to continue to look at the display.

New exterior pics look just like a shortened Maybach. Looks good though and German cars have always pushed the envelope in my opinion in terms of innovation.

I remember Cadillac and Benz both working on that technology back in like 1996. I have an old Car and Driver with an article about it. Uncle_el is pretty much spot on in how it works too.

Awesome night vision. But the car isnt as good looking as the last S-Class.
