I remember reading about that car a while ago. That gen Elise usually had the crappy British-made Rover engine, but that one has had a turbo K20 (IIRC) swapped in.

most definitely...the lotus name is all about handling and agility...that weighs less than 2000 lbs stock, but with the missing rear body panels...plus the added weight of mods...prolly around 2000..

yea thats how my question originated becuase i hear they had sumwat slow motors in them but there so dam light so there pretty quick

170 horsepower at 1700 pounds, yea they can haul sum ass. the people who own the board with the loti autocross both of them. they have one that is the top of the line model, and he was laying the smack down on all the corvettes in the super stock class this year.
