well, just got back in from the two hour total time mark, we got the distributor and the cam belt off.

Told ya'll, little at a time....





we plan on having the head off by tomorrow afternoon, then it gets sent out

looking good man oh btw when you are finished clean your engine bay with some good ole engine degreaser and a garden hose then your engine will look as good as the exterior of the car

Nice project. I love supras. I'm thinking about taking a 3rd gen like your and dropping either a 2jz or a ls2 motor. Or better yet just saving the money for a 4th gen.

man that would look sick with individual thottle bodies...it there a way you can make it so the intake doesnt go over the motor...that looks kinda lame....

there's some one on supramania.com who makes custom intake manifolds where they dont cross over. They're ideal for turbo setups, but its fucking 800 bones...

we got everything off cams, cam gears everythign...


EXCEPT FOR THE GODDAMN HEAD BOLTS!! we got all of them off but three...

they're FUKIN STRIPPED!!!

Can you put anything (screwdriver, thin wire) underneath the bolt head while you twist them off to keep pressure on them?

After much, much aggravation... We finally got the two stripped bolts and the other two extremely stubborn ones.... working out payed off
