yeah

but when i blew the headgasket the second time

the head cracked and my valves were COOKED (eight miles with the temp gauge topping out would do that...)

so now I have a turbo head on the car....

I remember reading that a problem straight sixes had was overheating on the back cylinder since it was so far from the fan up front, I wonder if this was a testament to that

It was, but to really make things worse, the Head design was poor. The EGR valve injected hot air into the sixth cyl. as well. It was ALWAYS the 6th cylinder to pop. A common fix for these things were Metal headgaskets and EGR deletes.

But sadly. I traded it in for the Z when i put the new engine in it. You know, so I dont have to deal with blowing a third engine.
