Who thinks the Saturn VUE would be a good buy???

I will be getting a new or newish car within a few months, I have looked at a lot of cars and trucks and SUV's

I think I am going to buy a Saturn. I have been looking at the Saturn VUE and think its a pretty good deal and the 2005-06's come with Honda engines if you get the V6 package , the body is all plastic so it won't rust and It seems good on gas plus more room for me and my family.

what do you guy's know about the Saturn VUE , any bad things with these SUV's??

Regular V6 Vue and Redline version both have the 250hp Honda 3.5L.

Seems the engine's the star. But that's only if you get the V6 version.

They are fugly. I mean I would much rather the Vue Redline, only because Honda built the engine. However, I really would want to do somemthing to that front.

i think its a bad ass ride. do you think that saturn would supercharge the 3.5 from honda? the redline is the way to go if you get the 3.5 vtec

I'll be honest and tell you that I hate saturn's! I find them to be pieces of s***. I'll never buy a saturn in my life! < That's just my opinion. Some people hate ford's, some hate dodge, some hate civic's, I just HATE saturn's.

I think they are pretty good little suv's. Saturns although made cheaply are actually dependable compared to ford/chevy. And they are so simple to work with.

Since the engine will be good, you dont really have to worry about much with the rubbermaid body. Go for it.

yeah exactly , won't see any rust bubbles or scars on the paint and with the Honda engine I'm sure its dependable...

its ether this or a Honda CRV witch is much more expensive.

My mom purchased her 04 Saturn Vue in Dec. 04. She wanted an SUV. Other choices were the Honda CRV or the Mazda tribute. We took the Tribute off the list-she didn't want a Ford. The CRV had too bland of styling. Then we heard the new Saturn had a Pilot engine in it. We went with that.

The ride is rough. The engine I'm sure will last a good while, but the ride is not perfect. Mom is actually thinking about getting rid of it and going with the CRV-they seem to have made it more aesthetically pleasing in 05 or 06?

But overall, it's a nice SUV. It could be better. We were sold on that Honda motor, but the ride is eh. . .

                          Our CB9 rode better!

-1993 Honda Accord wagon LX-still going!
-2002 Honda S2000-white w/ red int.-No words to describe this little 4 banger!
