alright for some this is hard to understand.......read slowly.

the rear bumper cover on many vehicles can essentially act as a parachute given the car is traveling at a high enough rate of speed. The purpose of the diffuser is simple to let the air pass through limiting such an effect. understand?

they DO work i have seen my friend drag a few months ago that prove it and his car was even faster with no bumper at all.
