    My Next Project Car Ideas...

So far I had/have done the following cars for project cars...

89 Civic LS-Vtec (sold before entering college)
My dads old 94 Mustang 5.0 (sold because is was not drivable)
    My Z32 300ZX (suspended)
My 240sx which is collecting all kinds of dust
last but not least My CB7-T.

I was looking for another project car...Let me know what you guys think.

I got the tools to do anything, but never the time. However, I am known to have zen-like patience with cars.

          I'd with the 93-97 LT1, or 98-02 LS1 Camaro.
          00 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 4X4

          92 Honda Accord LX

          95 Honda Civic CX

I like the potential that LT1 has. I also like the LS1 because of its crazy aftermarket support. The Camaro is my top decision right now. At the same time, that Factory Five Cobra replica is a great deal for 12gs (some assembly required). I am shocked that no one went with the evo so far...Hmmm.

how good are you at welding and what not.

if you are good then make your own. i have always wanted to have a car i made myself from the frame up. But on the note of buying one i would say the Factory 5 kit car. 5.0 speed, cobra looks, uber-fast.

I am not the best welder but i can weld stainless steel pretty well. Thats not something any old welder can say.

Id go with the 99 Camaro SS or Z-28, I had a 97 LT1 doesnt even compare to the 98 and above LS1. If you go the camaro route definatly get the LS1. Exhaust and a lid your in the high 12's.

rock what you got. skyline that 240.

the camero is nice and all but why waste all that money on buying one plus gas must not be a option if you get that.

Yeah, that would be. Don't see too may of those rolling around.

I think the best bang for the buck would be: 240sx w/ an s14 sr20det motor, front mount, bigger injectors, 3" exhaust, upgraded turbo, p&p head and IM, turbo timer, replace the headgasket with something better other than the stock paper one, and a few other goodies < those are the main things I would do to get big power gains. I would also go with a tein suspension setup and some good tires

Good thing about a 240 is that you can get one for cheap. You save $. And the $ you save can be put towards upgrades.
