Mitsubishi Starion <----ever see one?

I was talking with my co-worker and he was trying to explain to me what his uncle bought brand new back in the 80's....after extensive search it ended up being this car Mitsubishi Starion.... I never heard nor ever seen this car in person. Maybe I'm dumb or something...I think someone on this board actually had one as their first car. If I see one, I will buy one for no more than 1g.

I had one given to my by a shop owner when I did up my civic. It was in pretty bad shape but my friends and I got it to run. Then, we found a hole in the engine block. So we gave it up.

Its the pred to the 3000gt. It came with a SOHC 2.6 turbo motor. I wanted to do a 4G63 swap on it but it was too expensive at that time for me ( was still in college).

Mitsu Starions we're the exact same as Chrysler Conquest. Theirs a conquest at work but the tranny is shot and the interior was modeately stripped. if things go right, i might just buy it for the turbo parts (4cyl)

yeh kid thats a sicckkk ass carr! around here there's like 5 or 6 of them and they all fuck with supras... i've seen a 7m-gte supra with bolt-ons get fucked up by one from a dig and from a 25mph roll. my boy, i call him mickey has one pushing close to 500 whp. it's sick, but the way the motor is in it's hard to work on. but if u can find one for cheap with a good body, there's enough aftermarket support for them. there's a shop out here that deals with nothing but starions, they are on some other shit. ima see if i can get a vid of my boy's own running a supra.
