    2005-2006 Accord Styling Comments

I know on this board there is mostly negative comments to say about the newer accords, but more than likely there were hardcore guys back in the 1980's who said that same shit about our cb7's. I saw even newer pics of the 2006 coupe v6 6speed in black, and honestly I thought it looked incredible. Also, I'm happy our accords have some offspring that have a lot of focking power! The 2006 v6 will have 250hp, and loads of tq. That's a 14s car out of the box! I am impressed with honda, and I think they're doing a great job, its wonderful when you can have a car that is more reliable than 90% of the cars on the road, can handle like a bastard in snow/rain, and still be able to deliver 14s 1/4 times (with the ability to hit 13's with mods). That's all I have to say, that i'm proud.

the current accord in north america is the accord inspire elsewhere in the world. the acura tsx is the honda accord, and the acura tl is the honda accord euro r elsewhere in the world.

when our cb7s were made, it was the accord everywhere in the world, with the new (at the time) acura vigor being the honda inspire elsewhere.

thus, when talking about the true lineage of the accord, we should be referring to the acura tsx, and not the current north american honda accord.

    synopsis:
our cb7 was the last of the universal/worldwide honda accord. after our beloved cb7, honda decided that the north american accord would be different than the other honda accords elsewhere in the world.

with all of that said, i don't like the current honda accord we have. i'd much rather have an acura tsx or acura tl.

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

^^^Not to be JDM asshole, but the TSX w/the K20A is the Euro-R...I dunno what the TL is outside of the US, I don't think it exists. And the CD range of Accords was the same in the rest of the world; it was just available with the H22...

That being said I'm not really happy w/the general direction of ALL cars...too heavy, too tall; I just don't like new designs. However I think the new engine technologies Honda is putting out (well for Accords, DOHC+VTEC=good) are good. I would love to have a DOHC VTEC motor in my car.

TSX and TL just blows my mind!! I saw some that are milky white with yellow lens and black housing headlight.

The accord here are very very not my taste at all...............

Cool that our cb7 are the "last of the best"

Great achievements result from great effort
