    Custom Turbo??? (56K potty break)

    I am looking into these parts to make a custom STS style (remote turbo) turbo system. But i need help on how good these parts are i e-mailed the guy back on price so i don't know that yet. But input needed.

    by the way i am looking at the T04 turbo not the massive dark grey beast, and the lighter silver intercooler.

                an intercooler can only help the situation . . . i dont think theres anything called "cool soak" but im positive that "heat soak" can occur

                  lol, id drill the hole in the trunk so i can have th filter sticking in there because having the filter exposed is pretty bad ujnless of course you put in a bypass filter thing.

                    That is true. They say that the temp drops 100 degrees from the turbo to the TB, also it helps so you don't have to loss 2-3 psi running and intercooler

                    and about the air fitler I was thinking the same thing or at least make an air box to cover the filter.

                      well there is a "universal kit" from the STS guys but its 3K however we will see how things go.
