Every Porsche has a VW engine in it. Porsche is part of VW. Hans and Ferdinand Porsche were commisioned by Hitler to build the Beetle. What a fucking terrible car. Don't know why they are so popular. BTW I had a '71, and still don't understand. It never did anthing right, except run. You could always count on it to start, but if it was cold out, bundle up. If it was raining, better have a squeegee for the windows, and in the winter, take a passenger to scrape off the windows while you drive. Oh and if you live in an area with dirty roads, make sure you fill your spare tire frequently because the window washer was powered of air pressure from the spare tire. I know they tried to make it simple, but heat would have been nice.
