350hp neon

So I was driving today and noticed a 2004? neon turning with a front mount. It was black, lowered, black rims, and had tinted windows....looked really nice. So I wanted to catch up to him because I wanted to know what he had because it sure wasn't a srt-4. I ended up catching him at a red light and asked him what he had. He said he a turbo'd SOHC 2.0l motor pushing 350. I never found out what kind of turbo kit he had, but he obviously had some major power because when I was talking to him, I noticed it was 80% gutted out, he also had a 3 pod pillar, big RPM tach mounted to the left of his steering wheel, and 7....yes 7 mini gauges to his right mounted into his dash. After seeing all those gauges....I was like DAMN. Then the light turned green and he had to go. I tried to see if he would pull over somewhere so we could chat , but he was going straight and I was turning left. Hopefully I see him again, because I want to chat with him. I thought it was cool someone had a SOHC neon pushing 350.

But dude, each gauge adds like 10hp or something. Don't forget the torque gauge too...

Just cause he SAID it was running 350HP doesn't mean it really was.

Also having that many gauges does not mean it is fast either OR built. who knows, maybe half of them or all of them don't work

They also make a FMIC look alike CAI. Now ponder these things for a while. When he SHOWS you the car and PROVES it is running 350HP then come back here and prove it to us.

wait a minute just cuz a guy has an alleged 350hp non-stock turbo neon with a lot of gauges monitoring his investment it automaticly makes him rice???? ooohhh ok now i see so those guys at the strip that run turbo's on they're daily drivers shouldn't use gauges that the car didn't come with cuz some people might call him rice., ok all makes sence now. cuz if i hooked up a turbo,aftermarket fuel system, and so on and i spent a shitload of money on it?.....I would use gauges to see what was going on. hmmm....guess im rice then.

seriously tho, it was the first thing that popped in my head. How do we know those gauges arent the one you get at wal mart, you know the ones with the clock and compass together..? Just the first thing that popped in my head.

ricers are probably the reason i will never take 4 bangers seriously. To me, if you dont have a some kinda v/i6, v8, SS, 454, your just think your fast... But thats me. (I DO know there are some fast 4 bangers. but not as many as there are muscles)

Ok, but no matter what, this guy has to be pushing AT LEAST 200 whp. You should of seen the front mount he had....it was huge and his BOV was pretty loud too (not saying just because his BOV was loud, means he has alot of power). Maybe he's not pushing 350?? I won't know until I see the guy again. But 250whp would sound more reasonable.
