The TR6 came up(as well as the Covair, Miata, and others)

Anyone ever owned one or knew someone who did?

In your area, you have to be really careful...

They were VERY prone to rusting away. Like so prone to rust that they rust in relatively good conditions...

Other than that, they are pretty fun weekend/good weather cars. I never owed one, but used to work with a guy who like them. He said it was great, except for the rust. On his, the shock towers rusted through and the front shocks punched through. So they had to weld new shock towers in...

My uncle owns a 68 Sunbeam Tiger with a 289. That is scary as hell when he dumps the clutch. I can't imagine what an RB would do.

Wow that is crazy. It starts to get into that area of, "just because one can, doesn't mean one should".

I am not actively looking now, as I just bought a 2013 Accord haha.

I just like to do research and see what others are doing.

I really wish I could afford a project car. Simply because even if money got tight, I have a house with a garage and it could sit, covered, until money was good again.

I just want something to work on, I miss working on my cb lol.

Shit with the 13 Accord, Id be scared to dabble under the hood with all the plastic covering. Need a map to figure out how to put everything back haha.

But yea one day id like a roadster to take out on the wekeends. Most likely, it would be either a 1st gen S2k or maybe the new one thats coming down the pipe.
