i wanted to know what you guys think about the Chrysler Conquest/Mitsubishi Starion.

my uncle has an 86 esi-r or something, i forgot the trim name lol. anyways, they should come stock turbo'd putting about 170hp/200ish tq. not very sure on those numbers but it should be close to there. it's a wide body car, and i love the look of it. if i had the chance, i'd take it off his hands i think people mistake the starion with the old supra's. the only downside is low aftermarket support. i'd rock one and tune up the boost

Theyre not to shabby for old school rides. Performance wise I hear they're great cars ..Ive always liked the Conquest/Starion Sports cars even before the CB7 came about I had dreamt about owning one and I knew this kid back in highschool who completely rebuilt his and re-painted it black. Me and him used to be good friends but he transfered schools and I never heard from him again.

I worked with a couple of Starions before, modified them, built them, etc. If you have the money and a true love for the car, then they're nice cars, if not, I would not recommend them. The body is nice and the thought of it coming turbo stock and being able to boost up to 14 psi reliably on a stock block sounds good and fund but the motors are shit. They have more head problems then the old 7mgte supras do. The motors are good for nothing....

theres one in my grandfathers garage thats abandoned. front end is kinda smashed. like 50k miles. Me and my step-bro's might fix it up this summer and run some crazy boost on it or something.
