    2008 Kia Sadona CV Axles?

So i'm trying to help a buddy of mine out, he took his sadona in to the dealership today because he is getting a wobble under acceleration and was told that the CV axles were bad on both sides... He was quotes $1600 for them to do work/parts..

My question is, they told him NOT to use Nappa/autozone CV axles because they would brake quicker and had problems.. Has anybody had this issue with auto part store parts? Or JC whitney, idk.. I'm just thinking he can save a ton of money not going through the dealership using OEM parts.. and i can do the labor..

And no, car is NOT under warrenty

    Thanks for the input

I don't have personal experience with them, but I have heard a lot that Napa/Autozone/O' Rielly's axles are notorious for breaking. But you can usually get lifetime replacement ones though, you'll just be changing them every 6 months...

That would be my recommendation, but has he looked at the cost yet?

He needs to get a price on new ones, and then go from there.

Should try shopping around from other Kia delears on the web, should be able to find a better deal. Don't get me wrong, the parts store ones will work....but they are gonna break. If you dont mind doing all his work, tell him to get them. You will be a busy wrencher.
