Del Sol and CRX shift linkage question

I have another dumb question but I haven't been able to figure it out after hours of searching. I have a 1995 del sol. It has the d16a6 from an 1988-1991 crx. When doing that swap which shift linkage and shifter are you supposed to use? Are they the same? Mine has alot of slop in it. I've asked this before and was told to replace the bushings and check the bitch pin. The last few times i've had to get parts though i've had to figure out what came from what and that's beginning to be a pita. From what i've seen so far I have the d15b7 head on a d16a6 block. The internals I have no clue about. But back to the shifter......if both motors were d series to begin with then wouldn't both of them have the same mounting points for everything no matter what transmission was used? That would make me thinkthat the shift linkage and shifter would be whatever originally came in the car. I'm about to order a skunk2 dual bend but i'm trying to avoid having to send it back to swap it. My head says pm9-1. wtf is that? I can't find that anywhere.

you should be using a 92-95 civic or the linkage for your del sol. Get a set of urethane shifter bushings from either Prothane or Energy suspension

shift linkage connects to the transmission. Has nothing to do with the engine.

I knew that much lol. I don't know what kind of transmission I have. I just know it's for a d series.

Ok so it may actually be part of the linkage after all. There's a t at the end of the linkage that has a bushing in it but the only way to replace it is to replace the linkage. How can I identify my transmission?
