Happens to every car company. They come out with an idea and it fairs well for a few years but then demands change. People flock to the next idea and the old gets left in the dust.

just because they changed the name doesnt mean they changed the purpose and lineage for a car. just look at the ford escape. it is the same vehicle as the explorer, just a different name. on the same token, the cr-z is the successor to the crx, just a modern version. they had to add a shit-ton of safety features (unfortunately, in my opinion), and the hybrid drivetrain to make it appear eco-friendly, but it is essentially the same theme as the old crx; light, cheap, good gas milage. i see the current one as a crz-hf; an economy version of the chassis. I REALLY REALLY want them to make a CRZ-SI, with a k-series, less weight, and better suspension from the factory. i would buy one without a doubt.Originally posted by xkjnboix View Post
