buy some 38" super swampers, looks cheesy with small tires. and also invest in some beadlock rims. until than it looks ok.

since your comment seems a little sarcastic

First off put the show truck magazine down. Ok. The lift i have is a BDS 6" lift a true 6" suspension lift, superswamper who are made by interco DO come in smaller sizes but wear bad on street use. They are also incredibly noisy. So i have decided so go with Trxxs STS 35x12.50x17 tires who are also made by Interco. If i decided to run a bigger tire i would have make sure i regeared my truck and beefed up the tranny. then it would only be possible if i 1. it got a 3" body lift and it trimmed some of the plastic valence. 2. I got a bigger lift possibly a Cognito 7" and crank the torsion bars. A Full throttle 9" lift. but with the present circumstances i have since spent little over 3 Grand on the lift, labor and other parts listed in original thread. the tires alone cost a shade over a grand themselves so yes they are on the way. as money allows.

I have also been rebuilding my accord that i bought back after selling it. It went back to paint and body shop and has taken a good chunk of money to restore it to the condition i had it in. Along with the purchase of different body kit pieces and new rims and tires.

i love my truck, 85 chevy stepside, i rock superswampers, and i love the road noise i also dont mind the wear because i go mudding almost every other day. im more into the older style trucks, but yours is nice. as with all new vehicles body styles keep getting worse and worse imo.

i used to drive a 77 chevy with 10" rearched leaves back in highschool. so ive been into trucks for awhile. The last full size i had was a 96 tahoe, put a 3" body lift and 33" BFG mud on...never gonna buy BFG again. You ever check out Fullsizechevy.com thats a cool site where i have learned a few tricks.

Thank goodness you take it off road. I get sick of all the money these guys put into a truck and it ends up being an Asphalt Princess.

                        Nice looking truck.

A girl I work with had her 04 Silverado stolen just before Thanksgiving and she just got thru dealing with the insurance companies and the gap insurance. She was $12K upside-down. She owed $34K on it and insurance only wanted to pay $22K. The truck was found stripped and the only thing left on it was the engine and spare tires. Interior completely gone. Tranny gone. Bed gone. All removable body panels and doors gone. EVERYTHING except the engine and spare tires on it.

Basically a big blue Silverado cab and stripped engine on a frame with bald tires.
