    My 91 MR2 Turbo

Now that a lot of you know me from my switchblade key group buys, I may as well introduce you to my ride also.

    1991 MR2 Turbo

    Performance mods:

    Huge custom IC
    2.5" IC piping
    CT20b turbo
    3" "Phat Pipe" downpipe
    Greddy Power EVO exhaust
    TRD plug wires
    ATS throttle body inlet
    Blitz SBC-iD boost controller

    Interior:

    Blitz turbo timer
    Blitz boost guage
    Clarion in-dash DVD player
    TRD shift knob
    Matching shift boot
    Valentine 1
    Short shift kit
    Some pedal covers

    Wheels/Suspention:

    Sparco NT-R wheels, 17x7 front, 17x8 rear
    Yokohama ES100 tires
    Tien S-Tech springs
    Tokico 5 way shocks
    Front strut brace

I've only had the car for 1.5 years and its coming along pretty good. I really need to find a nice rear strut bar since I don't have one that will fit over the new IC piping. I've got a long way to go still, but I'm happy for now.

^^^^^I hate looking at that burnt out licence plate bulb in that pic

OK thats all for now. Thanks for looking!

Very nice. Look into the JDM tails...the circular ones...they look awesome on the MR2s.

Very good eye! You are the 2nd person to get it right, and the pic has been posted up on the mr2 forum for a long time.

And you are the first person who said they didn't like the wheels. But a little criticism never hurt anyone

Sometime this year I'll be ordering the 94+ tails which are the ones with the circles.

                      Thanks guys!

How fast is it? I don't know how to explain it since its never been dyno'd or to the track yet. What I can tell you though, is that I stayed dead even with my buddies 97 Eclipse GSX with 371awhp all the way until the end of 3rd where we both let off. I actually gained a half a carlength on him since my turbo spools way before his. The reason though behind that is just the power to weight ratio. At 18 psi I would guess I have around 260hp or so, rough estimate.

Yeah I agree with you there. These are a BITCH to work on. I'd say the difficulty is just under a 300zx twin turbo to work on. Luckily these don't break down often!
