So I walk out into a customer's garage the other day...

Sorry about the quality, apparently leaving expensive cars in the garage submits them to a coating of dust. I also didn't use the flash to avoid glare, so there's a little blur from my moving around.

His DD is an Audi A8, but his wife drives a Toyota minivan, and his daughters drive a VW EOS and a Mini Cooper S.

    1. Sweet ass! I love the A6. but the A8 is nice too.

    2. Money!

    3. You know your cars are SO low when you can stack them IN your garage.

If I had a Z8, Id leave it underneath the covers too. Those things are quite expensive.

Disgraceful. Cars are built to be driven and if you're not going to bother, just buy some posters to hang in your garage, or play video games or something. I don't care how expensive or rare a car is, you bet your ass I'd drive my own Ferrari or limited-production homologated rally car to work! Kids need to see and hear these things, that's how enthusiasts are made and what keeps the fun side of the automotive industry going!

What keeps the industry going are people who actually buy the cars. We can talk till we're blue in the face, but the reality is NOBODY on this site is gonna drop 100 large on a new sports car any time soon. I think it's a shame as well, but I'd rather this guy buy these cars than for people to just dream about buying them, and then have these companies go out of business.

idk man id have 2 disagree on that one. i have a 1970 buick skylark custom all original besides the rims. start it up evry other week and drive it maybe 1once evry 2 months. 2 c a car evryday gets old. but 2 c 1 that rarely gets driven around is like "daym, he took it out"

well the op must be mistaken because from the looks of the pics that Audi is a R8 not an A8 little mix up but it can easily be cleared up if you would just look at the pics a little closer... < ps. i know this sounds kinda Douchie but i'm really not trying to make it sound that way... lol

I'm not mistaken, you misunderstood. He has an R8 in the garage, a Z8 in the garage on top under the cover and his DD is an A8.

They're insured, but they're his toys. I waited two days for him to leave the R8 in the garage so I could see it. He said it hasn't seen rain since he bought it. That dust it collected was just over the weekend.
