    I want a Benz..

Since im in the Air Force a lot has changed about me. My looks, my attitude, my personality, and my taste in cars. Recently i acquired a irresistable urge to purchase myself a Benz mainly for the looks and the comfort. (Tein basics with poly bushings is a bumpy ride)

I poked around CL and found myself the mercedes benz 190E and instantly fell in love. The natural boxiness of the 190e i found very intriguing, magnificent, and most importantly, under $3K.

So my question to you guys is there have any information about this model that i should know about? Any certain trims of the 190e that are better than others?(Example: DX, LX, and EX models of accords) What are common problems of mercedes cars? which website carries the largest inventory of parts?

Im not trying to obtain a "baller" type status or anything but im just trying to venture out the honda community and expand my experiences on different car manufacturers. Any help is appreciated.

If you can find one with the 2.3 Cosworth developed 4 cylinder, you'll be in for a treat.

parents used 2 like benzes, had 2 of those 190e when new
          prior was a 420sel and after a c200.
seriously their heavy and no go.
early c class used 2 rev like crazy and not go anywhere.
          failry controlable 4 their weight.
I'd love a sl black series but til i cant afford it, wide body clk..

190e evolution. cosworth still holds value.
if u drive it give it put ur foot to the floor you wont b very impressed i dont think. and high k's probably need a lot of restoration.

my uncle has a 1990 300e and man...... that car has a suspension of a boat and acceleration of a freight train. mpg is great if your still living in the era of 1.00 premium octane . don't even get me started with the brakes....

            good luck finding your car!
