But all the fun is above 3,000 RPM...

    Mostly just the sound.

I don't know why, but unless I'm about to feel 550+awhp above 3,000rpm...I just want this thing to get the absolute best fuel economy

I have to admit that the 3.2 V6 sounds great under load

I was wondering if you still had the 3000GT.

          yeah it's under the knife.....

Getting the heads "built" (decked, port and polish, 272's, etc)

          Twin Walbros

E85 with Meth Injection (already installed)

          Max out the E16G's

It should be sitting at around 660ish awhp on a Mustang Dyno (690-700awhp on DynoJet)

I made the trip from Baltimore to Boston in ONE tank!

Very happy with the road performance and fuel economy..........BUT

now there's a check engine light and an erratic idle.

So into the shop it goes

            Updates coming soon

Right on. I recently attended a dyno day with a bunch of guys from 3SI.org, some of them made some pretty good power, but I can safely say you are will be well above all that dyno'd there with your plan.

                        ......4 months later.

Looks great. I take it you got the CEL and erratic idle fixed? What was it?

I love these cars. Ive always wanted a CL-S or a TL-S in this body style.

Yeah I fixed the issue which actually baffled the mechanics three times in a row.

They replaced the IACV. worked for a week and again, same issues.

Tried to clean out the throttle body and replaced IACV again - worked for a day, same issues.

Then they realized that the silicone layer that allows the butterfly valve to have enough give and tension on the rod was missing so the throttle wouldn't close all the way.

Replaced the throttle body and haven't seen a problem since.

Drives great and the fuel economy improved as well.
