    Opinions: 2002+ Infiniti Q45/M45

Well I'm looking to get rid of my Infiniti G to get something a bit more pleasant to drive long distances in.

I like Infiniti as a brand and they do come as a bargain.

I was looking at either the M45:

    or the Q45:

I dig the boxy, American inspired styling of the M45 (even though most people hate it), but they are hard to find.

I like the Q45s subtle styling, supple interior, and V8 power. I'm kind of torn between the two.

    Any opinions on either?

    Your own suggestions?

      M45 have known transmission failure.

Q45 have known transmission and electrical failures.

Of course, I am speaking from personal experiences and for family/friends whom have had these models as well.

      Good luck either way.

Nissan has always had electrical problems thats nothing knew. If i has to pic a car it would be the Q45 i love the shape and style not to mention it has the coolest projects around!!!

They both look 'cool' since you dont see them around much, but I am sure the maintenance and repair costs are also up there since they didnt make that many.

If I had to pick one on just looks I would go with the Q45

Ahhh noooo..parts are extremely hard to find and expensive...you may have to belly up and go to the dealer.

Q45 FTW! I have driven one many times, they sounds soooooo sick! they have a monster v8 that sucks into your seat, interior is still current if not above some luxury cars out right now(full nav. all heated and powder seats even the rears). they also have a motorized rear window shield shade/cover. Passenger windows have pull up shades in the doors. audio and climate controls in the rear arm rest(VIP). wood grain all over the place. the driver seat pulls back and makes it super easy to get in and out, and when you get in and turn the key the seat goes right back to where you had it. they handle great for the giant boat that they are. and ride super smooth. they do have electrical problems with the starters, and a few random sensors from what I can tell. I love riding in and driving that car. best idea is to test drive both and see what you think, since that's the most important thing.

                  Sold too: Grumpys93, '93CB7Ex, Bunta, prodh22accord, SSMAccord, fleetw00d
