simple question needs a simple answer

would it be possible to take an awd crv chassis (96-01) pull the b20 out, take a h22a4 long block (using h22 into dc2 mounts) use bisimoto h2b plate with the original crv transmition and install it into the crv chassis and retain awd in the process??? this question needs to be answered by a straight forward individual.

you are referring to fab where the mounts go correct? this is basically a civic in my opinion. why should it be so hard as long as the mounts are correctly mounted in the right place??? seriously why shouldn't the h2b plate not be used in a different way??? im getting tired of rust and civics. if you can school me with logic tell me a good reason why this shouldn't work. lol.

btw: the crv only weighs like 400 more lbs than a bb6 lude

OP, you will run into fitment issues for one thing. The H is bigger than the B. The transmission may not even line up correctly, even if using the H2B plate. Also AWD and FWD transmissions are totally separate beasts....it's hard to explain every little thing that will need to be done. I suggest reading up on similar things that have been done so you know what you're in for. It's not just as easy as swapping a motor and putting a plate in, or even making sure engine mounts are in the right spot.

Also, don't forget about correct wiring, that itself will be a bitch.
