hey heres a waste of time i think will be enjoyed
i get sick of building and repairing the same old shit, fast cars, big 4x4s, basic repairs.
this just blew my mind when i found it in a field in northern sask. it's a case garden tractor model 220 hydrostatic
the stock 10hp kohler was dead and replacement engines are $700-1000 for anything reliable. so i aquired a smashed 1997 yamaha yzf600 and put it in. the tractor is completely hydralic. there is no direct connection between engine and drive ass just a hydralic pump that provides about 2500 psi. the mower deck used to connect the the crank of the original mower but now is driven by hydralic gear motor. this thing is awesome sounding as it is open headers that you can see coming out the front bottom area of hood. it's all completly wired to liftruck ignition. cooling system is done, the rad sits sideways on the right of the hood. there is a twin shaft gear reduction that is required to achieve the 4500 max rpm at the pump input shaft
grant steering wheel installled
monster tach on hood ( directly in centre)
engine runs tractor at about 6500-7000 continuesly, damn it sounds goood!
