1991 Honda Prelude 2.05 SI PROBLEM

whats up guys, other then my cb7, i have a 91 prelude SI and the damn thing just isn't runnin' right...i'll start it up in the morning, everything will be running okay, and about half way to work once the engine has warmed up it starts bogging down (until i completely floor the gas pedal) like its not getting any fuel, this will go on about 5-10 minutes usually then the CEL comes on, then it starts to run fine...i checked the code on the ECU and all it says if fuel system...i think it may be the IACV/EACV or the EGR. any thoughts???

try cleaning up those valves, especially the egr. you can also try using seafoam to clean up the carbon deposits

I assume..you seafoamed DIRECTLY into the intake mani through either the Brake booster line or PCV hose.

          take an entire can of Seafoam....say you're at 1/2 a tank..right...

hit up the gas station....take the seafoam....get a funnel...put the seafoam in ( while at the pump. ) then....start pumping the fuel in.. ( mixes the fuel and seafoam well. )

^ you want to put an entire can of seafoam into the tank BEFORE you fill up.

then...drive around for about 20-30 minutes...I prefer the highway.

it will clean the fuelpump gears...the fuel lines...fuel filter...and injectors.

try that before doing anything else.

get back to us once you have done that.

92 LX. A6 with GUDE bullfrog Cam. M2S4 transmission..Gutted H23 intake mani. The rest you will just have to find out!
