Viper ACR faster than ZR1 and GT-R

**yawn**..This a race car(sorry but it is hence american club racer)...Race comparison to sports car=fail. Its a dodge= fail. Its been already established that the nurburgring is not "the end all be all".. fail... Vipers are always pretty fast and faster than vettes but at the end of the day most people would rather have a vette. fail. If crushing speed were the only thing that mattered vipers would be higher up on the totem pole and would not be mocked for the overpriced 80k pieces of shit that they are. If I remember correctly it was also the fastest car in the slalom and really what is the big suprise here? Shouldn't a car with 4 extra cylinders that weighs LESS and has 120 more hp be faster by all means? Lets look at what it takes to dethrone a GTR. End discussion.

The driver was either too lazy to shift up, or the gearing was mismatched for the circuit.

well said.... very well said... i disagree that the GTR was on the throne however.... the Z was faster(without all the driver assist controls) i think better looking from most angles... the GTR is absolutely stunning i just think a lot of angles dont flatter that car

For a modern day super car, the GTR definitely aint no Lexus. But all things considered its actually quite a pleasant place to be while rocketing down a freeway. It is what it is. I'd rather drive it every day than either of my Toyota's or Honda

i dont see a comparison at all between the 3.

GTR + ZR-1 = STREET CAR

VIPER + ACR PACKAGE = RACE CAR

Either way I give chrysler a couple more years before they are really gone. I always liked the vipers but oh well. GTS for me. Its limited production and I dunno many people willing to spend over 100g for a viper. But they do kinda show what the capabilities of it are.
