but very nice car. i like.
Roads out here are pretty bad, I don't want to lower much more than it is now. Even stock, it's down to like 4-4.5" of ground clearance. One more thing I do want, however, is a better alignment. The factory alignment is supposed to be really conservative.

Even though it's silver, the car gets a fair amount of attention. I've already had 2-3 kids point it out; you know, the whole "hey dad, look at that car!" thing. I'm surprised; didn't think it looked that different from a normal Miata, at least to a person that's not familiar with them. Also got waved at from a fellow NB Miata driver on the way home from the dealer, although I didn't even catch it until it was too late to wave back.

    Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Here's one with a nice exhaust, probably the one I'd go with if I was in the market (not the best sound quality on the video, but not terrible). He also has the wheels I want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTQ-V1OS554

It was kind of spur of the moment. I wanted an RSX-S, then an S2000, then I found out about the Mazdaspeed Miata (the WRX and E36 3 Series were also on my list for a while, among many other cars I'm forgetting right now). $5-10k cheaper than the S2000's I was looking at, and plenty of performance for me, for now at least (I've read 0-60 in the 6.2-6.5 sec. range (a bit high due to needing 3 shifts to get there), skidpad figures around 0.92-0.96g, with slalom speeds of ~70-71mph, if I remember correctly). Plus, extra hp is really easy to come by on these cars, unlike on the S2k (225whp, approx. 70 over stock, is about $3700 away). So S2000 performance is easily attainable; heck, you'd be beating stock 350Z's in a straight line at that point (and Accords with V6's and 6-speeds, lol), not to mention in the turns; and the MSM would still be (arguably) cheaper than the Z and S2k. Yeah, I'll admit it doesn't look as good as those cars, but it's by no means ugly IMO.

Also, a light, nimble RWD roadster? Really, how can you say no to that? (Yeah, I realize it's a pretty feminine-looking car, even with the Mazdaspeed parts, but whatever. Chicks think it's cute, and it's a blast to drive.)
