Blown integra tranny. Again.

Ok guys what the hell is wrong with this car.

So far 2 trannys have gone the same way, I am in no way forcing this car. The first tranny was a gsr and it blew 3 seconds after I downshifted to 4th at which brought it to about 4k rpms. This one a b16 with lsd just blew out on 4th gear as I let go of the gas.

Why could this be happening, both trannys lasted just a few months, both had honda mtf fluid and didn't give any signs of going bad. No grinds no popouts ever.

The car is an ls. B18b non v-tec

As stupid/trivial as it may sound, why not replace with the correct OEM tranny? But that's just me.

Not saying if replaced with oem proper replacemnt, no issues would arise...

The car was auto. The 5spd swapp came out of a car with 50k miles that was well treated. I used the proper conversion mount and replaced all motor mounts and axles. I just don't understand how 2 trannys can just die like that.

Why would your tranny blow downshifting from 5th to 4th? Are you sure you didn't downshift to 2nd?

Yea but syncros you can feel. These trannys were perfect. Smooth shifting I just don't get it. This is really going to drive me to sell the cb and this car.

define "blown tranny". that's kind of an important detail dont you think? There are a hundred ways you could blow up a transmission. One of them even involves a rocket launcher.
