    Question about watermark

I dunno the technical term but I think its watermark. Its the thing you put on your photo such as **** photography usually you see on pictures. Well its been a while since I actually went in depth with photoshop so my skills are rusty. My question is how do you make it to wear I can save it and just put it on a photo. I forgot how to make the background transparent. I made the deal already but the background is white. If anyone can give me any info on this it would be great.

I am using photoshop cs2. Thanks in advance.

You have to save it as a brush or pattern. Create a new document, where it says Background Color, change it to transparent (the default is white). Create the watermark, whether it be text or an image or whatever.

Now, go to Select > All, then Edit >Define Brush Preset OR Define Pattern (pattern is the better choice).

Now, to use it go to Edit > Fill and choose Pattern, then from the dop down choose your new pattern and hit ok. Done!

If you saved it as a brush, select your brush tool, open the brush options (at the top) and scroll to the bottom and you'll see your new brush. Select it then you can use it as a brush!

I said it on my post how to save as a brush hahaha...

"Now, go to Select > All, then Edit >Define Brush Preset" It'll appear in your brushes palette.
