unfortunately, the work involved it fix the body here would probably be more then the car is worth (it looks like a balled up piece of paper). IMO, u should just buy a shell and swap everything over. it will be cheaper, but can understand if u want to fix it.

Nope. Might need to setup Microsoft Outlook for email tho, but that's about it.

The thing about welding is that if you do it right, yes it can be stronger...but it also can weaken/misshape the metal around it. With something as sensitive as door jams, it wouldn't be something I'd want to risk.

You're in FL, right? You should be able to find another rust-free shell to work with. Sure, it'll take some time, but then you could also part out the car you don't use to recoup some losses.

If you lived in an area with no rust and you had a rust free car...that'd be different.

hey Aaron... ummm.. i have a guy here that might be able to get that fixed or pulled out to where you can work with it. but besides that i would look for another shell... that is a lot of work to be done there... first thing is that we kinda need to know what kind of money you willing to spend on a shell because ppl can offer you all kinds of things but why bother if you can't afford it. so it would easy on us to know what price range you wanting so we know what direction to point you in. just my 2cents.

wow so many people have so many different views on it

                              a few say weld it

another few or so say get a new one

and the little bit left say its fixable but costly?

I might just delete this thread and start over with a pol at the top

Find somebody that is good with body work, ask them what the best option would be. I think cutting what you need out of a donor car and welding it in would work as long as the damage isn't too deep.
                                wat?
