    Do you think its fixable???????????

Ok well i got around to taking the doors off of my car today to see how bad the damage was. It doesn't look too bad but its still bad. I would just like an opinion if you thin it is fixable or i should just strip it and get another cb. If its fixable about how much labor/ money would it cost. I plan on doing as much of the work I can by myself first then sending it off to a body shop for everything else. So please let me hear what you have to say and keep on topic

Edit: there is saw dust on the ground because im currently trying to make my Golden Retriever a dog house also

You might want to get your car checked for straightness. Otherwise, a little work with a dent puller (screw in type) and a hammer and dolly, and you could probably get it alright. It'll never be quite the same though, most likely.

I believe a lot of autobody shops have a machine that checks for alignment of the frame (unibody, whatever).

As long as it is tracking alright (not pulling to either side), I'd think you'd be alright. You may want to do more research into the possible risks, however.

Absolutely, is it fixable??? You damn straight. Always, and I mean always think positive. Good luck and hopefully everything will work out.

              I personally think it's fixable.

Just go to a junk yard and cut out what you need and weld it on.

and it'd be life threatening if he does crash...

Not really. If you weld it up right it could end up stronger. Since some welds are stronger than the metal its self.

You guys have clearly never heard of spot welding.

There is a reason they use that method to stiffen chassis'.
