When you get it, change EVERYTHING. Read the fine print and follow the instructions for the warranty. Change the timing belt, water pump, etc... or the warranty is void. They aren't going to replace a 14 year old engine for free if you didn't change the 14 year old timing belt and it snapped on you! (that being said... I'm running a 14 year old timing belt... )
And Chris, that's the best way to get an engine from a lesser-known distributor... as long as you know what you're looking at. I know people that have successfully bought from Osaka JDM Motors because they went to the warehouse. That's the way to do it!
