Kanye has always either made something good or made something that makes you wonder what the hell. As far as music of today is concern, some of it I can listen to, others I can't. I can listen to this song while crusiing at night and that'll be about it. Old school hip-hop(80's and 90's) will always win the battle when compared to today's stuff. It was just different and not everyone talking about the same old "I got bitches and hoes in the club making it rain". Talent is talent, but it's useless when you sound like the next guy beside you.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he'll make more money than anyone of us. He'll probably end up like most famous people...broke and/or prematurely dead.

He sucks. Period. It's all the little emo/scene kids who think this is music that made him rich. Music is mostly corporate machinery. Think Blink182 is good? I can play 3 chords and arppegiate them for an intro, and have a blink182 quality song. Add in a synthesized drum and bass line, and you have yourself a regular punk band. Modern music sucks, even the OLD good bands, like metallica.
