Anybody have T-Mobile??? I Need Help!

I have a phone that i need unlocked. I talked to t-mobile and they said that I can have a friend do it for free for me. All they need to do is call in and give them My EMIE Code and email address and thats it. If somebody can help me out, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.

The IMEI code is usually written on the phone itself. Try looking at the back then remove the battery.

I dont know why but the woman said I cant do it that way I need to goto the manufacter themselves and they can do it for me I PMed you the number ... let me know

you can't unlock all phones the same way. some of them have to be shorted out in a specific way, some have to have codes simply typed in, some can be unlocked remotely via their network and some can't.

ok man I did it , they said it should be emailed to you within 24hours , and they also said to make sure u check spam and junk folders cause sometimes it goes into those folders by accident .....


Now tell me this is all on my name and account soo is there anything I need to worry about ? its not a stolen phone or anything is it ?????

Not stolen at all. I bought the phone from Compusa when they were closing their doors. The phone has nothing to do with your account and will not be tied to it either. I just needed a T-Mobile account to get a code. Thanks again.

Cool Cool , sounds like a nice phone if they dont email you within 7 days I can call and they will be able to give me the info over the phone ... Hope it works for you keep me posted man , I also wish I had the money to or someone that did to buy your car , I love that thing ... l8ta

Hey bud its best the you take it to a local accessory store..they would be able to do it or at least point you in the right direction...reason being once you get it unlock and the phone is turned off it would usually revert back to T-mobile settings..
