I don't think most people expected it to be a fight... Tank is 42 and has been in the game for the past 15 years or so. He's washed up (or arguably a never-was).
Kimbo seems to be all the rage, but he hasn't fought anyone legit. Put him against anyone who isn't a straight up bruiser and he'll be submissed in no time. Hell, put him against any decent fighter and lets see what happens. He hasn't proved anything YET.

i hate when ppl make that arguement. The man just got into MMA let him get his freakin' feet wet first. Its like ppl expect a championship fight right off the bat.

Hasn't proved anything? IDK about that. As far I'm concerned , Kimbo Slice a legit streetfighter. It will take him some time to adjust to MMA though.
Exactly what I was saying. He hasn't proved anything yet (referring to his MMA career). I was simply responding to comments that I've read or heard about him being the best heavyweight in the world. He hasn't fought anyone that would make him such. I'm not saying he isn't a good striker, he is... he just hasn't faced anyone yet.

I was referring to the OP's comment about it being a waste of money. I don't think anyone who usually watches the sport expected it to be much of a fight. And, as I said above, the rest of my post was concerned with the rhetoric about Kimbo being the best heavyweight.
