What kind of header do you think is best for a CB7?

Okay good now all u have to do is modify the downpipe collector to 2.5 and your should be good.

it gives a little bit more power cause dc has chocked it up a little with the downpipe.

Almost every sub $500, off the shelf header company has a smallish 1 7/8-2" collector...including H22 headers... DC is the company that most other headers are copied from...

kamikaze is the only mass produced, off the shelf header with a true 2.5" collector oulet...


a 2.5" collector on an f22a1 with stock internals would be overkill anyways though... why waste the tq on a motor that is made for low-mid rpm tq....

Anything 2.5 on an F22 is overkill... The exhaust flow will lose velocity. For an H22 header, then yeah... a larger outlet would be good. However, low end torque would be lost. However, the H22 would compensate for it, since the power is found higher in the RPM range than it is with the F.
