Usually I warm up my mazda for a few mins. I like to because untill its warmed up it will idle at 2 grand and its kinda annoying so I just let it warm up a few mins and just drive off keeping it at low rpms till its at normal temp.

The only time I warm up my car is when its like 10 degrees outside. But since summer is here I just let it sit for like 30 sec then take off.

i only warm it up because its cold in the car and i don't like bein cold, crank that heater til it gets hot then i'm good to go.

I generally wait till the temp gauge starts to move. Unless I need to clear snow/ice or something.

All i do every morning is start the car and go. I do drive gently til the temp needle reaches above the "C" mark, then I let it RIP, but by then i'm on the freeway (a distance of about two miles from my house) to commute to college so its all nice and dandy.

2 munites is what i let mine warm up MAX...after that i'm just wasting gas.then i dont go above 2500 rpm till i'm near operating temp.the oil in your engine warms up faster than your coolant does, so keep that in mind

                    Bonfire!

I just let the engine burst into life for a few ticks and I'm off. We dont have cold weather here, so just a few moments is all is needed.

If there's ice on my windows, I start the car then scrape off the ice. By that time it's usually at normal operating temps.

When it's warmer outside I start my car, put in the CD that I want to listen to that day, buckle up, then go.

They have block heaters nowadays but some remote areas probably dont even use that. They do use a diff gas mix compared to what normal areas use in the other countries. Because it is so cold they mix something else into the gas to help it combust. They mostly drive diesels up there I think at least I would if I lived in that type of environment. Top Gear drove to the arctic but I think they have fuel injected Toyota pickups but I forgot.
