Here's one of the many emails I've been getting from "paypal" telling me to confirm my account information. I got this one today.

WHERE'S THE MONTH???
and isn't this 2008??
also...I haven't had a paypal account in over 5 years...and these started this year
It had a nice blue border and looked...similar...but not exactly like the paypal colors and bars on their site
The user agreement links go to the actual pay pal site...but the "click here" does not. Firefox blocks the site as a potential threat...but IE doesn't...looks like a log on site for pay pal...where you give SS# bank account # credit card # etc all to verify your account.
