Anyone in the NYC area thinking about joining the National Guard???

Ok ok so i know most will laugh at this but i want it around incase someone has been thinking about it.

I am currently with the Army National Guard. My unit is HHC 369th Harlem Hellfighters and were all suppose to recruit actively blah blah.

Just wanted to make it known that if anyone is or has been thinking about it let me know and ill help you out....i wont feed you bullshit and ill keep it realz lol.

Yes, it is the asvab, and Im assuming this is for the GRAP program?
If so, youre not really supposed to advertise on website I dont think, but Im not sure if forums count against you or anything. Not being a hater, I just dont want to see you lose out on the money you get for getting someone in on a silly technicality. Im in the KY army national guard btw.

Yes this is for GRAP. Yea it probably isnt a good idea to post it here but i just wanted to put it out there....im not really going to walk the streets and ask people to join and get laughed at.

And sure there is chance of shipping out because of the war or in my case doing 4 years on active duty and not seeing one day of fight.

Its up to you if its worth the risk.

Depending on who gets the nomination in November, we could be seeing an end to the war in Iraq, probably not in Afghanistan, but Iraq would be almost definite.

Yes this is true. Deff not with Afgan or Iran but Iraq's days are numbered.

I was a SPC but ran into some trouble on AD....now im PFC...my mos is 68G...Patient Administration Specialist....medical pencil pusher lol.

The job was ok but they are trying to phase it out so thats that.

Yea i was excited to get off AD....i didn't have to join the NG but i figured if im going to run the risk of getting called up i might as well get some benefits.

10k, 2 years no deployment(so i have one year of worrying) and 100% tuition paid by NY is good too my ears.
