    how can I tell if an ecu is for a auto

    Ok I found this ecu and its a p13 I wanted to know if its auto the guy don't know himself. Is there a way I can tell by looking at the numbers/codes on the side

      I can't take any pics its on ebay and the guy lives in a nother state he just took pics of the codes on the side

        auto is four plug connector and 5 speed is three plug connector.
        The beginning of a new era............................
        165 hp 149 ft. lb. torque sohc non vtec. then....
        184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......

            whats the model number?

              The number on the top sticker will say something like the following. If it's JDM auto it will say J-AT. If it is USDM it will say KA.KC-AT. For manual substitute MT for the AT.

              This code is right below the part number on the top sticker, not the side sticker.

                  most likely it came from a 4ws prelude? the fourth plug usually indicates the 4ws, when you start it up you might get a code 36 with that ecu
