Anyone own this GPS? If so I need some question's answered.

1. I don't have the dvd-rom installation program. So I can't install the software for it on my pc. Do you know where I can get it from? It's not at the ViaMichelin.US support page.

2. When I do a soft or hard reset on the gps. It goes all the way through until it gives me 3 map options to load.

A. Alaska.fdp (storage Card)
B. Hawaii.fdp (storage Card)
C. United States.fdp (storage card)

Now when I go to select any of those maps. It just reloops itself back to the same screen.

3. Is this a software issue with the SD card? Or the gps itself?? I need help because this is bothering me. I can't call customer support because they are closed on sat-sun.

4. If it is the SD card can I Just pull the files off and reformat the card and put the files back on?

Check the card out on your computer and make sure it's not corrupted. Were the map files installed with an installer before you got the unit?

I would search around for the proper software for it.

I tried searching I suck at using google rofl!!

Well I have the cd-rom software, but its all the way in Frenchtown. I'm not trying to go that far to get it LOL! I thought their would be an easier way to fix this damn gps...
