Look what I picked up for $50

i know a buddy who used to work at a dealership, he just stole from other dealerships

They're not too heavy. Probably no more than CB7 alloys. The diameter is actually more important than the weight. 20lb 15" rims are better for drag racing than 15lb 17" rims.


Anyway, that's a good deal. They're pretty damn ugly, but for slicks, they're great

I know that but in comparison to most other aftermarket wheels of the same 15" diameter these would be somewhat heavy no?

My cheapo sportmax 15" wheels weigh 14.5lbs......

Yeah, they're probably heavier than some aftermarket... not necessarily though. But for $50 for brand new ones, he'd have been dumb not to get em!

The extra couple pounds won't really matter. It might make a .005 second difference. Driver error will account for more lost time than the weight of the wheels.

For sure they might be a tad heavier than some aftermarket one's, but like Deev said I would have be stupid to pass these up because all I was looking for was 2 relatively cheap but decent rim and I saw these pop up on a local car forum and jumped all over it.
