      LOL@this thread.

Paint thinner or maybe mineral spirits.

But if you have overspray you better get them to fix it for free....fuck that.

Maaco is hit or miss for real.

try a clay bar first, might be a lil less harsh

I don't think automotive paint is mineral spirit based, I believe it's lacquer based (meaning use lacquer thinner) but new paint's might be xylene or toluene based.

paint thinner, mineral spririts, or clay bar, take it easy with the clay bar tho, then you'll have to buff it. if not you know that since you paid that much, get on them about it, if not then thats your bad.

x3 on claybar. It works I know because I had overspray on my car and it took it off. Quite a bit of work but it worked.

agreed... Maaco uses single stage paint(unless your doing base coat clear coat) single stage paints used by maaco and peach are enamel, so useing thinners is a bad idea. mostly because if you get it where you dont want it then respraying is hard to get straight. industrial grade compound will do good for waves and bumps, just be careful whatever you use. the paint wont completly settle for about a month.

this may sound funny as hell but it works, if you have overspray on trim ,lights or anything, use the cheapest TOOTH PASTE they sell, just put it on rag and wipe. i didnt believe it either until I saw the guy who painted my car use it to get it off the the trim around my windows where a little overspray had gotten. I used to help out in a bodyshop, and they ALSO USED MOTHERS ALUMINUM POLISH, that worked also. thinners sometimes cloud clear plastics.

If it is on your windows, you can use a razorblade (carefully, of course) or steel wool.

You cant find claybar at autozone? They sell them at every parts store I have been too. I think wal mart even sells it in their parts department for cars.
