Among other things I do at my job is do followup surveys for new Hondas, Acuras, BMWs, and Volkswagens regarding the overall purchase process and experience at dealerships. One of the most frequent things I run across is how owners of new Accord sedans compare their new vehicle to a BMW... I don't get it, as I've driven both the 07 335i convertible and the 07 650i coupe as well as the new 08 Accord sedan.

Not to dog on the new Accords, as they're a fine vehicle, but they're no BMW.
Former: 90 Accord EX Coupe, 93 10th Anniversary in Frost White

1985 Volvo 245 manual [IPD lowering springs, IPD sway bars, OEM Virgo wheels, 1977 quad round headlights, 1978 grill]
2001 Mazda B3000 SE 4x4 extended cab [stock except for CB radio]
2008 Ford Escape XLT [bone stock]
2015 Toyota Prius Three with solar roof [rear diffuser, Vision Cross wheels... cheaper than steelies!]

It depends on what you measure. In terms of materials quality, etc, they are on par.

The styling isn't really classic or exceptional, but I can understand why some people love it. I just wish these things weren't so huge. Why'd they have to change the dimensions? IMO this model would be hot in cb7 dimensions.

I actually reall like them, the coupes especially.

The one thing I really DON'T like, is that the headlights and the tail lights stick out.

Actually, they really are not THAT big. Pictures tend to make them look larger than they really are. I'd say size wise, they are about the same size as an 01' Maxima, if that.

Yeah, they are quite a bit bigger than a CB7, (parked next to one the other day), but they aren't that huge honestly.

And I agree. They look much bigger in pics than they do up close in person.

They're just a full-size now. That's sad. Is the coupe any smaller?

We only get the 4 door version, and the boot design is different - red reflectors and reverse lights on the boot lid

Full size is merely a measurement of total interior space (interior + trunk). It doesn't have anything to do with the size of the car specifically.

The Accord only qualifies as full size without the moonroof. With the moonroof, by the legal EPA definition, it is a midsize.
