Well my car got hit by a truck a few weeks ago the whole right side is messed up they say it has frame damage the insurance wants to give me $1900 for it it has nothing wrong with it just the usual 1/4 panel rust its a 92 ex 4 door with oem alarm spoiler i just got it for $2600 1 year ago its not my fault i got hit what do you guys think am i getting ripped off?

I'd say you got ripped off on how much you paid for the car

Its dosent matter that you got ripped off when you bought the car to them so they will not take what you paid into account. Do not cash a check from them if you don't agree with the amount. Once you cash the check you settled. Private party your car is worth well under 2gs. Just try to get them to pay retail bb. I received $3200 for my totaled accord 1.5 years ago with double your miles and I live in the same state. You just have to fight with them. They will probably allow you to keep the car too. If you have a 5 speed trans in good condition ill buy the trans off you.

I got 3g for my first accord when it got totaled. The frame was bent and a denture was in the driver side qp. Wasnt my fault too. But yea argue the amount that seems low. They are offering me about that much but I have no frame damage since it missed the rear framerail by a couple of inches so I got lucky.

OUt here you barely get 1,800 well I dont know thats just up here in Nyc I guess they must have a highwer value out of state when it comes to insurance. The cb7's only have a certain amount of value for the potential it can bring. But unfortunately not to most people when theyll just use an excuse like: but its an old car yaknow
