New Car Decision! no flammers please! audi vs. volkswagen
don't worry i got money..i only bought cheap accords because i thought the
$2500 ones weren't worth it lol..but yeah i do work alot and im not in high school anymore fyi i got my ged. (Due to really bad family problems a while back) and i got a full time job and i DJ on weekends! so im pretty much straight right now
but yeah in april 2006
i was with my dad at one of the restaurants he owned and
you know the street signs that have like the restaurant name
my dad was fixing it on a tall ladder and i was holding the ladder
at the bottom...the ladder was idk 30 feet high..and all of a sudden
my dad's unconsious..and hes stuck to the sign and i fliiped out then
he went to the side and feel down and try to catch him and he landed on
me and threw me other and he landed on the floor (sidewalk) it all seemed
to take hours at that moment..my mom called the ambulance and it seemed
to take hours for them to come..my dad was breathing really slow like once
every 10 seconds and after like 3 mins no breathing at all..his forehead was cut open (the electricity went in from his forehead) and it came out his left
hand..his whole hand was red with blood!..he smelled like something burnt
and he died..after the paramedics came they brought him back
but he spent 3 months in a comma..1 year in rehab and a 16 hour operation
on his left hand to reconstruct EVERYTHING in his hand..he's got mental
problems still and from that day it's been
...im speechless...hopefully he'll get better with time.
Buy yourself a good condition Honda Accord and you'll love it. It will offer reliability and open up a whole bunch of tuning opportunities.

please tell me your not blaming everything on what happened to your father, bc if so, i can open up another huge can o' beans.
Here is my suggestion.
I already mentioned the smartest idea above, old camry or cb7 or something of that nature.
If you wanna be baulin, do it smart. Just get the same version of what i just mentioned but the lux version. Lexus es300, acura legend, get my drift..........
But just like any car, research common problems (legend-head gasket), and look for signs of them.
Trust me on this one, you do not want a german car. Unless you luck out, you will have stupid little things breaking left and right and its not cheap to get them fixed. My dad has a top of the line benz from a couple yrs ago, and while the car is nice, its a peice of crap. Yes when i drove it around fro the week he was on vacation i got a bunch of looks that i wouldnt get in my cb7. But if i was offered that car or my cb7 for the same price, but i have to pay maintenance/insurance/gas all that, i would still take the cb7. Plus german cars use all these retarted tools that chances are you nor i dont have.
But hey, you seem to be the type of guy that has to put ur hand in a fire and get 3rd degree burns to confirm that fire is hot. So do as you please.
I have had friends with different VW's, and all of them were lemons, they sold them and never looked back. VW has the lowest return buyer rate by far. Just last month my buddies 94 Passat caught on fire just driving down the highway...
