anyways. look at Audi. i got a friend up in MD that has one and is pushing about 400whp. but the parts may be JUST a bit more expesive tho. a exhaust system that he was looking at costs like $600. shnit.

That being said, take the audi. More $$$ for insurance, but oh, so much sexxier.

Audi. I wouldn't recommend basing a decision on rims, audio, tint, etc unless the cars are closely comparable in every other way. What use is getting free tint if you're dropping 3k on a new motor in two months?

I'd personally get the audi, the jetta's just so douche-baggy. At least around my place.

Although...if you're modifying it, you may just wanna go with the jetta. You're a high schooler, you may have money, but do you have audi-money?

we had an 00-01 jetta, it was a diesel. It needed a 500 dollar part replaced like every 2-3 months. VW's are known for their electrical problems too, but I'd rather have the audi

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

My mom has a 2000-2002 Jetta 1.8T (it was brand new)

With 74,000 mi on the speedo this is so far what has happened:

Sunroof leaks pools on the drivers side floor matt (Volkswagon said it's a common problem with just about ALL jetta's)

                            Turbo overheated (under warranty fixed)
She has taken the car up to the dealer about 8-9 times due to recalls
Engine bay is cramped as hell!
Every oil change FROM THE DEALER, she gets a CEL always for different things. O2 sensor, turbo out of whack (actual VW Tech told her that)
Headlights have burned out 5 times

AND THE BEST SO FAR!!!!!!!!!! SPONTANEOUS BENT VALVE!!!!!!!! (extended warranty covered FTW!!!!!!) They don't know what caused it because everything checked out.

This is only 1 person's dealing with the Jetta. Take it or leave it. Just thought you might want to know.

Then again you could end up having nothing go wrong and be happy.

As for Audi???? I couldn't tell you.
