ok i always do atleast 80 on the freeway and plus sometimes iv seen charts on the internet saying u lose somthing like 20 cents ever 20 mph over 65 is that true...?

you get your best milage at 55 mph every mile over you lose 2% efficiency so at 80 you lose 50% efficiencyF22b + MP1A = mad fun for me now. . .

it all depends on the power band and the motor.
On my first trip on the CB (dirving it home(philly) from Atlanta), i was always going 80-90, and i averaged out to 33 mpg.

it definitely depends on the car. For example, the prius gets 60 mpg if you travel at 60 mph. It all depends on engine rpm to see how much fuel is used. 55 mph is too generic.Yeah, Preludes

0mph is da bestest. I drive at 80 on highway and I get 400 to a tank. Thats also cruisin at 3800 ish rpm.

MILES per gallon. If your not going anywhere then your not getting any miles added on to the cluster, which means that your getting 0 mpg.

you also have to factor in engine load from whatever else, such as payload, so maybe 75 to 80 might be better with more weight in the car.
