    Your Input: Growing Earth Theory

    So, Neal Adams, famous comic book artist, and now earth scientist.

    Check this out.

    You know how we were taught in school that there are tectonic plates moving around...well here's another theory, which IMO makes more sense...and seriously Cool

            Yes, the internet is not ideal to source science, but then again, the internet is merely a medium through which anything is presented. There are published works that support this theory, but I would have to just post a picture of the book via the internet.

            This theory, I think, is more than 30 years old. Back when there was no internet.

            The reason why this theory is not very popular, and why not many people support it, is because it goes against the contemporary teachings which describe the planet and its physics.

            The main issues with this theory lies with the "production of matter from energy in the middle of the Earth." The opposite of what happens in a Nuclear explosion, where matter is converted into energy.

            Why would any researcher, professor, or grad student want to knock on their knowledge and ego, when they can happily stick with the current theories which help pay their bills? Thus the up hill battle.

            Just thought I would put it out there, in the spirit of science. Never know, maybe we have some Earth Scientists in the CB7tuner bunch.

                              Watched a few a long ass time ago. Interesting, I'm just not sure if I really care one way or the other. As long as food gets in my stomache and gas gets in my car, and I have a roof over my head I'm happy.
